Charissa Clemetson known as Charissa Zoé is a professional makeup artist and beauty educator from Kingston, Jamaica.
With a passion for makeup artistry and all things beauty, Charissa has been involved in the beauty industry since 2009 when she was certified by the Face Place Institute of Aesthetics.
Going by her first and middle name, which together mean gift of life, her mission is to offer her clients more than a beauty appointment, but a refreshing and fulfilling experience, where their confidence is at the forefront. Whether in teaching makeup classes or preparing a bride for her wedding day, she believes that every appointment is an opportunity for her clients to rediscover their own beauty.
Charissa’s style of ‘Naturally Beautiful Makeup’ is an approach cultivated over her 15-year career, focusing on an effortless finish that enhances and embraces each person’s beauty. Her work is weightless and soft, with a skin like appearance and trademark glowy cheeks thanks to her love of bronzer.
Charissa has worked with major beauty brands, such as L'Oréal and Black Opal, has had numerous media features in her hometown of Kingston, Jamaica, and has done makeup for local and international celebrities and public personalities.
She is proud to be the personal local makeup artist for Emmy award-winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, and an artist of choice for entertainers, leading corporate executives and even the Chief of Defence Staff of the military, the Jamaica Defence Force. Regardless of the stature of her clientele, her makeup artistry is for every woman looking to enhance their natural beauty.
In addition to makeup artistry, Charissa boasts 15 years of experience in digital marketing, having bolstered the social media presence and digital marketing efforts of public and private sector entities in Jamaica. As a content creator, she applies her expertise and love of marketing to her passion of makeup artistry. Her behind-the-scenes vlogs and Tip Thursday educational videos are popular on her Instagram page.
